Who
will perform the massage?
A trained professional who has received proper training will conduct
your massage session. All massage practitioners are certified and
insured.
Must I be undressed?
Most massage & bodywork are traditionally performed with the client
unclothed; however in the corporate setting regarding seated massage
the recipient is always fully clothed. You may decide to unbutton
you collar, roll up your sleeves, and remove your jewelry in order
to massage the arms and hands with greater ease.
What parts of my body will be massaged?
A typical chair massage session will include work on your head,
neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
A typical
oil massage includes face, head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands
legs and feet. whereas a sports injury treatment focusses on the
injury site for the majority of the massage.
Will oils or lotions be used?
A light oil or lotion may be used only on your arms and hands. The
oils & lotions used should hydrate the skin and be readily absorbed.
Essential oils will usually be added as an extra form of promoting
healing.
What will the massage feel like?
It depends on the techniques used. In general, your session may
start with concentration on deeper breathing and gentler massage
strokes to help calm your nervous system and relax exterior muscle
tension. As your body becomes relaxed, pressure will gradually be
increased to relax specific areas and relieve muscular tension.
How long will the sessions last?
For a seated massage, the average session lasts 20-30minutes. Many
people may request more time for deeper work when they are feeling
discomfort due to overused muscles, migraine headaches, or stress
related injuries. For a table massage, the average session is 30
minutes but one hour is very popular because it allows the time
to cover the back, legs and arms.
What should I do during the massage?
Make yourself comfortable. Many people just close their eyes and
completely relax. Others like to talk during their massage session.
Feel free to ask the massage therapists questions about the massage
in general or about any particular technique you are receiving.

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term
aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After
